Inside-out Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, cut up
- 1 large green pepper, chopped (or several green peppers, suite your own taste)
- 1/2 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 ounces shredded cheese (or more to suite your taste)
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet, brown beef. drain.
- 2 transfer to a greased 2-quart casserole dish.
- 3 add the next 8 ingredients.
- 4 cover and bake at 350°f for 1 hour or until rice is tender.
- 5 uncover and sprinkle with the cheese.
- 6 return to the oven until cheese melts, about 5 minutes.
