Grilled Short Ribs

Ingredients

- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 12 beef short ribs (1/2 inch x 1/2 flanken style short ribs)
- lettuce leaf
- sticky rice
- red miso
Recipe
- 1 whisk together marinade ingredients (soy sauce - oil) in a 15 x 10 inch pan and add ribs to marindade, turning to coat and let marinade for 30 minutes to 2 hours at room temperature.
- 2 prepare grill to medium high heat.
- 3 brush grill with oil.
- 4 grill ribs until cooked through (5 minutes per side).
- 5 remove meat from bones.
- 6 wrap meat in lettuce leavs with a small amount of miso and sticky rice.
