Fat Free Banana Granola Bars

Ingredients

- 1/2 cup smuckers baking healthy oil & shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1/4 cup flax seed meal (adds fat) (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups puffed rice cereal
- 2 bananas
Recipe
- 1 place baking healthy, vanilla, and egg whites in mixer.
- 2 beat on medium speed until slightly frothy.
- 3 add sugar on medium speed.
- 4 add cinnamon, salt, and honey.
- 5 add baking soda.
- 6 slowly add flour on low speed.
- 7 add oats, flaxmeal and banana on low speed.
- 8 finally fold in rice krispies.
- 9 place in 13 x 11 pyrex that has been treated with no stick spray.
- 10 bake in 350 degree oven for 25 minutes.
