Italian Sausage And Rice

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 5 1/4 cups canned tomatoes, italian ready cut (i used s&w diced with garlic, oregano & basil)
- 3/4 lb turkey sausage, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth (i used swanson with less sodium)
- 1/3 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 3 cups brown rice (cook according to pkg dir.)
Recipe
- 1 cook the rice according to package directions.
- 2 in a large skillet saute the turkey sausage.
- 3 add the tomoatoes, broth and pepper.
- 4 stir in the rice, cover and cook on low heat for 5-8 minutes.
- 5 stir the rice until all liquid is absorbed.
