Cuban Black Bean Soup

Ingredients

- 2 cups dried black beans
- 2 quarts water
- 3 cups medium onions, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 -5 drops hot pepper sauce
- 1 large green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- salt and pepper
- rice, for serving
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients except salt, pepper and rice in slow cooker; cover and cook on low 7-8 hours.
- 2 season to taste with salt and pepper. serve over rice.
