Easy Baked Lamb Chops With Gravy And Rice

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 lamb chops (thin chops are best)
  • 1 (1 ounce) package brown gravy mix
  • 1 (4 -6 ounce) package 10-minute success rice
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • pepper
  • garlic salt
  • vegetable oil (about 1/4 inch deep in pan)
  • water

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375°f.
  • 2 pour vegetable oil into pan about 1/4-1/2 inch deep, and place on medium high heated burner.
  • 3 season lamb chops with garlic salt and pepper.
  • 4 cover lamb chops on both sides with flour.
  • 5 when oil is hot, brown lamb chops on both sides.
  • 6 place lamb chops in baking dish, and cover with water (the amount of water decides how much gravy you will have, so you decide. i suggest about 1 1/2 inches deep in an 8x11 1/2 inch pan). place pan in oven and bake at 375°f for about 25 minutes or until lamb chops are no longer pink inside.
  • 7 take lamb chops out of the oven and pour the brown gravy mix into water.
  • 8 return lamb chops to the over and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • 9 now is the time to make the rice.
  • 10 prepare according to package directions.
  • 11 take lamb chops out of the oven and serve with gravy over rice.
  • 12 enjoy!
