Favorite Stuffed Manicotti

Ingredients

- 1 lb ground sausage
- 2 (15 ounce) cans italian tomato sauce
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) carton ricotta cheese
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 12 manicotti, cooked
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 brown sausage in large saucepan, drain.
- 2 take half of sausage, put in large bowl and put aside.
- 3 stir tomato sauce, paste, and water into sausage in pan.
- 4 simmer 15 minute.
- 5 meanwhile, to the sausage in bowl, add ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, egg and parsley.
- 6 pour 1/3 sauce mixture into 13x9-inch baking pan.
- 7 stuff manicotti with ricotta mixture and place on top of sauce in baking pan.
- 8 pour remaining sauce over stuffed manicotti, top with remaining mozzarella and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
- 9 bake at 350°f for 20 minutes or until hot all through.
