Jambalaya

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb sausage (emeril's kicked up sausage)
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 (10 ounce) can french onion soup
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup green onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 (10 ounce) cans rotel tomatoes, mild
  • 2 (5 ounce) cans ham
  • 1 teaspoon parsley

Recipe

  • 1 in large roaster, melt butter and add mushrooms, green onion, pepper, and parsley.
  • 2 add soups, broth, and other ingredients.
  • 3 bring to a boil and cook until rice is tender.
