Jambalaya

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried green chili pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley flakes
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon granules
  • 1 teaspoon snipped dried chives
  • 1 teaspoon dried celery flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 lb smoked sausage
  • 1 cup chopped ham

Recipe

  • 1 combine the rice mix with 2 cups of water and 1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce in a dutch oven.
  • 2 bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.
  • 3 stir in 1 pound sliced smoked sausage and 1 cup chopped ham.
  • 4 heat through.
