Josie Collida's Gnocchi With Instant Potatoes

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 1 1/2 cups instant potato flakes
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 8 ounces tomato sauce
  • 4 ounces mushrooms, and
  • mushroom liquid

Recipe

  • 1 mix potato flakes with water.
  • 2 add 2 beaten eggs.
  • 3 work in 2 cups of flour.
  • 4 knead, roll in 0.5 inch pieces.
  • 5 roll each piece down with fork tines.
  • 6 boil for 8 minutes or little bit less.
  • 7 tomato sauce:.
  • 8 saute small chopped onion for 15 minutes add 8 oz can of tomato sauce and 4 oz can of mushroom and liquid and heat through.
