Fettuccine With Ham And Peas

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb fettuccine
  • 2 cups peas
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 ounces ham, cut in strips
  • salt
  • parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 in large pot bring salted water to boil.
  • 2 in skillet melt butter over low heat.
  • 3 add onion and saute stirring frequently, about 3 minutes.
  • 4 add the ham and cream simmer stirring frequently for about 5 minutes.
  • 5 keep warm.
  • 6 add pasta and peas to the boiling water and cook until pasta is done.
  • 7 drain the pasta and peas.
  • 8 place in serving bowl and pour the ceam mixture over top and toss.
  • 9 sprinkle with parmesan.
