Fettuccine With Ham And Peas

Ingredients

- 1 lb fettuccine
- 2 cups peas
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 ounces ham, cut in strips
- salt
- parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 in large pot bring salted water to boil.
- 2 in skillet melt butter over low heat.
- 3 add onion and saute stirring frequently, about 3 minutes.
- 4 add the ham and cream simmer stirring frequently for about 5 minutes.
- 5 keep warm.
- 6 add pasta and peas to the boiling water and cook until pasta is done.
- 7 drain the pasta and peas.
- 8 place in serving bowl and pour the ceam mixture over top and toss.
- 9 sprinkle with parmesan.
