General Tso's Lamb

Ingredients

- 1 lb lamb (serving size)
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup flour
- salt and pepper
- 3 stalks green onions (chop about 2 inches)
- 3 garlic cloves (minced)
- 2 tablespoons gingerroot (sliced)
- 1/4 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar (marukan)
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cooking rice wine
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
Recipe
- 1 sauce:.
- 2 *mix all ingredients, then set aside.
- 3 1. put salt and pepper on lamb.
- 4 2. add egg, mix.
- 5 3. drench lamb in flour. (usually put flour on a ziplock bag, then add lamb, then shake bag 'til lamb is evenly coated).
- 6 4. deep fry lamb, set aside.
- 7 5. on the same pan, saute garlic, ginger, and green onion.
- 8 6. then, add deep fried lamb.
- 9 7. add. sauce, and simmer til sauce thickens.
- 10 8. then serve with steamed rice.
