Homemade Granola

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 cups quick oats
- 1 cup sliced almonds (optional)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 preheat your oven to 300.
- 2 spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- 3 mix oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- 4 combine honey, oil, and sugar in small saucepan over medium heat until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- 5 remove from heat and stir in vanilla.
- 6 pour over oat mixture, stir well.
- 7 spread onto sheet and bake 30 mins or until golden. stir occasionally, every 5 mins or so, to avoid burn spots.
- 8 let cool for 15-20 mins and break up. store in an airtight container.
