Herb And Garlic Pizza Dough

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon yeast, -heaping
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano leaves
  • flour, for dusting

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375c.
  • 2 dissolve yeast in water, adding sugar and oil.
  • 3 set aside until bubbly.
  • 4 in a large bowl, mix flour and spices.
  • 5 then add yeast mixture. mix with hands until in a smooth ball.
  • 6 roll out on floured surface.
  • 7 bake in over for 5-7 minutes before putting on the toppings.
  • 8 bake with toppings for 20-25 minutes.

Easy Fattoush Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 large cucumber, seeded and chopped
  • 6 -8 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh mint, minced
  • 1 cup fresh parsley, snipped and stems removed
  • 1 lime, juice of
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons good quality olive oil
  • 1 roma tomato, chopped
  • 1 -2 piece pita bread
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • garlic salt, to taste

Recipe

  • 1 combine all of the salad ingredients in a glass bowl, toss and chill in the refridgerator for 20 minutes.
  • 2 brush the pita bread lighty with olive oil and sprinkle with the desired amount of garlic salt. toast in a 350 degree oven for 7-10 minutes until crisp, remove from oven and allow to cool. once cooled, crumble into bite sized pieces.
  • 3 just before serving toss pita bread with the rest of the salad and enjoy!

Hot And Smoky Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (12 ounce) package pasta, such as rotini
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, seeded and diced
  • 8 -12 slices cheddar cheese (thin slices) or 8 -12 slices baby swiss cheese (thin slices)
  • 0.5 (3 1/2 ounce) can chipotle chiles in adobo
  • 1 (16 ounce) bottle prepared ranch dressing

Recipe

  • 1 to make the salad: cook pasta according to pkg directions.

  • 1 tablespoon wine vinegar

  • 1 heat the oil over medium high heat in a medium-sized sauce pan that has a lid.

  • 4 cups reduced-sodium fat-free chicken broth
  • 8 ounces sugar snap peas, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups thinly sliced leeks (about 2 medium leeks)
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup uncooked arborio rice or 1 cup other medium grain rice
  • 1/2 cup dry wine
  • 3 ounces diced cooked ham (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
