Ingredients

- 4 cups cooked grits
- 1 teaspoon sea salt, smoked
- 2 tablespoons parsley, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tablespoon extra vergin olive oil
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 green tomato, chopped
- 1 tablespoon cajun spices
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon mustard powder
- seasoned pepper (to taste)
- 12 ounces frozen shrimp (bag/30-40ct)
Recipe
- 1 after cooking grits to directions on the package, add the salt, parsley, cheese, and butter. stir to mix well.
- 2 while grits are cooking prepare shrimp sauce.
- 3 shrimp sauce:.
- 4 heat oil in a skillet and saute onions, bell peppers, tomato, and garlic for 4 minutes until the veggies are tender.
- 5 add cajun spice, chicken broth, worcestishire sauce,dry mustard, and pepper, and shrimp and cook for 5 minutes on a medium heat.
- 6 spoon grits on a plate or place in a bowl.
- 7 spoon the shrimp mixture on top of the grits and serve.
