ground almond rosettes

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • rice paper
  • 4 ounces ground almonds
  • 4 ounces icing sugar (sifted)
  • 2 egg whites
  • glace cherries

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven 230 degrees.
  • 2 cut the rice paper into 12 small squares and lay on your baking tray like playing cards.
  • 3 mix the almonds and icing sugar.
  • 4 cut the glace cherries in half.
  • 5 beat the egg whites stiff and add the almond/icing mix.
  • 6 put into large star piping bag.
  • 7 pipe one whirl onto each square of rice paper.
  • 8 put cherry into centre of whirl.
  • 9 into oven for 5 minutes until brown.
