Grilled Southwest Shrimp On Skewers

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb shrimp
  • 3/4 cup ketchup
  • 2/3 cup picante sauce
  • 3 tablespoons of firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Recipe

  • 1 rinse, drain, and peel the shrimp.
  • 2 put shrimp on skewers.
  • 3 mix ketchup, picante sauce, sugar and lemon juice.
  • 4 brush the sauce on the shrimp, reserving some to serve with the shrimp.
  • 5 grill shrimp 5-8 minutes or until done, basting occasionally with the sauce.
