Easy Seitan

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups gluten flour
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 3/4 cup cold water
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • 2 mix dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl.
  • 3 in a small bowl, whisk wet ingredients until mixed well.
  • 4 add dry ingredients to wet. mix well, then knead for several minutes.
  • 5 form into a log shape and wrap in foil, tightly twisting the ends.
  • 6 bake for 90 minutes and enjoy as you wish.
