Ginger Shrimp And Pea Pod Stir Fry

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and de-veined
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sherry wine
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 thin slices ginger
  • sesame oil, for stir-frying
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2-2 cups pea pods

Recipe

  • 1 boil broth, soy sauce and sherry.
  • 2 remove from heat and keep warm.
  • 3 mix cornstarch with water and set aside.
  • 4 stir fry garlic, ginger and green onion for 1 minute in oil.
  • 5 add shrimp and stir fry for 2 minutes or until barely opaque.
  • 6 remove from wok and set aside.
  • 7 add more oil and stir fry pea pods.
  • 8 add broth mix and boil.
  • 9 add shrimp and heat through.
  • 10 stir in cornstarch to thicken.
  • 11 serve with rice right away.
