Ginger Shrimp And Pea Pod Stir Fry

Ingredients

- 1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and de-veined
- 2 green onions
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sherry wine
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 thin slices ginger
- sesame oil, for stir-frying
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 1/2-2 cups pea pods
Recipe
- 1 boil broth, soy sauce and sherry.
- 2 remove from heat and keep warm.
- 3 mix cornstarch with water and set aside.
- 4 stir fry garlic, ginger and green onion for 1 minute in oil.
- 5 add shrimp and stir fry for 2 minutes or until barely opaque.
- 6 remove from wok and set aside.
- 7 add more oil and stir fry pea pods.
- 8 add broth mix and boil.
- 9 add shrimp and heat through.
- 10 stir in cornstarch to thicken.
- 11 serve with rice right away.
