Dinner Rolls

Ingredients
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry yeast
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 eggs
- 6 cups all-purpose flour
Recipe
- 1 add shortening to milk and heat in microwave oven to 115 degrees.
- 2 pour into bowl and add sugar, eggs, and yeast.
- 3 mix in first cup flour and salt.
- 4 keep adding flour while mixing until the dough doesn't stick to your hands but does stick to itself.
- 5 separate into either 1 pound loaves or smaller rolls.
- 6 makes 3 loaves or 36 rolls.
- 7 let raise for about 3 hours in a warm covered place.
- 8 put into oven at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes for a roll or 25-30 minutes for a loaf.
- 9 it will be done when you thump the bottom and it's hollow sounding and it's brown on top.
