Grandma's Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 green bell peppers
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup rice
- 1 cup water
- 1 diced onion
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can condensed tomato soup
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup water
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350.
- 2 mix first 8 ingredients well.
- 3 cut green peppers in to quarters (or thirds - depending on size of peppers).
- 4 fill cut peppers with the meat mixture.
- 5 in a dutch oven, mix the tomato soup, tomato sauce and stewed tomatoes.
- 6 add the additional 1/2 cup of water
- 7 arrainge filled pepper in the bottom of the pan.
- 8 spoon sauce over pepper.
- 9 cover and back foe 2 hours.
