Ingredients

- 1 (12 ounce) can spam, classic cut into cubes
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- 1 bay leaf, finely crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash ground red pepper
Recipe
- 1 in large skillet, lightly brown spam, onion, and garlic.
- 2 stir in remaining ingredients.
- 3 bring to a boil.
- 4 reduce heat and simmer, covered, 15 minutes.
- 5 sprinkle with red pepper before serving.
