Garlic Pepper Prawns

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 kg medium prawns
  • 50 g garlic, minced (1/2 cup)
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Recipe

  • 1 trim prawn whiskers and devein by making a slit along the center of back (leaving shell intact).
  • 2 rinse.
  • 3 mix garlic, pepper, salt together.
  • 4 season prawn with the mixture, taking care to place some of the mixture inside the slits.
  • 5 set aside for 30 minutes or more.
  • 6 heat oil in wok or skillet and quickly saute prawns until they turn pink.
  • 7 do not overcook.
  • 8 serve with plain rice.
