Eight-grain Bread

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups warm water
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
- 2 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 1/2 tablespoons molasses
- 1/4 cup oil
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup oats
- 1/3 cup caraway seed
- 1/3 cup sesame seeds
- 1/3 cup cooked rice
- 1/3 cup rye flakes
- 1/3 cup wheat bran
- 1/3 cup poppy seed
Recipe
- 1 stir together all wet ingredients.
- 2 mix all dry ingredients, except poppy seeds. let stand for 5 minutes.
- 3 add the wet mixture to the dry mixture and mix together until just combined. let stand for 10 minutes more.
- 4 knead, and let rise for 1 ½ hour.
- 5 braid, and let rise 30 more minutes. sprinkle poppy seeds on the outside.
- 6 bake at 190 c / 375 f for 45 minutes.
