Irene's Tamale Pie

Ingredients

- 2 cups cream-style corn
- 2 cups tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups pitted black olives
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies
- 3 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, place everything except the milk, eggs, and cornmeal; boil for 20 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking.
- 2 add the milk, eggs, and cornmeal; mix well.
- 3 pour into a large casserole dish.
- 4 bake at 325 degrees for 1/2 hour.
- 5 serve with salsa.
