Low Fat Pasta Carbonara

Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked linguine
- 2 teaspoons margarine or 2 teaspoons butter
- 1 1/4 cups canadian bacon, finely chopped
- 1 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 3/4 cup skim milk
- 1/2 cup egg beaters egg substitute or 1/2 cup any refrigerated fat-free liquid egg product
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 cook pasta.
- 2 melt butter in saucepan, add bacon, garlic and onions. cook until tender, about 4 minutes.
- 3 drain pasta and add to bacon mixture.
- 4 stir in egg product, milk and pepper.
- 5 cook 1 minute or until warmed through.
- 6 toss with cheese and enjoy!
