Low Fat Cranberry Chocolate Chip Granola Bars

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup wheat germ, toasted
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2/3 cup dried sweetened cranberries
- 2/3 cup dark chocolate chips, divided
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 300 degrees farenheit.
- 2 spray an 8" square pan with cooking oil spray or coat sides and bottom of pan with canola oil.
- 3 in a large bowl, combine oats, flour, wheat germ, and cinnamon.
- 4 stir in honey until dry ingredients are well coated.
- 5 stir in dried cranberries and 1/3 cup of the chocolate chips.
- 6 pat mixture into oiled pan.
- 7 top mixture with remaining 1/3 cup of chocolate chips.
- 8 bake for 18 - 20 minutes or until top is golden.
- 9 cool in pan, then cut into squares.
