Fudge Crispy Treats

Ingredients

  • 6 cups crisp rice cereal
  • 1 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 2 teaspoons real vanilla extract

Recipe

  • 1 combine the cereal and sugar in a large bowl an set aside.
  • 2 place chocolate chips in a 1-qt microwave-safe dish.
  • 3 microwave uncovered, on high for about 1 minute; stir gently until smooth.
  • 4 stir in vanilla.
  • 5 pour over cereal mixture and mix well.
  • 6 spoon into a greased 9x13 baking pan.
  • 7 (make sure pan is at least 2 in. deep.) refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, then cut into squares.
