High-fiber Low-fat Oatmeal Cakes

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 3 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup nonfat yogurt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg , lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit (cut into small pieces)
  • 1/4 cup nonfat milk

Recipe

  • 1 grind oats in blender.
  • 2 mix together dry ingredients.
  • 3 cream together wet ingredients and sugar.
  • 4 fold in egg .
  • 5 combine wet and dry ingredients.
  • 6 form into 12 patties.
  • 7 bake at 325 for 15 minutes.
