Hot Dog Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 cup uncooked rice
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 quarts water
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 lb hot dog, quartered (or smaller for little kids)
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup

Recipe

  • 1 cook rice in salted boiling water until tender; drain reserving 1 cup liquid.
  • 2 lightly brown onion and celery in margerine.
  • 3 place rice, onion, celery, parsley and hot dogs in greased 2qt. casserole dish.
  • 4 mix reserved liquid and soup; pour over casserole.
  • 5 bake at 350 for 45 minute.
