Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 8 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup almonds, chopped
- 1 cup peanuts, chopped
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 1 cup safflower oil
- 1 cup currants
Recipe
- 1 saute oats in small amount of oil in frying pan for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. place in bowl with all other ingredients. mix well.
- 2 spread on cookie sheet and bake until done but not burned -- about 20 minutes. keep mixing so bottom doesn't get burned.
- 3 the important thing about the ingredients is the ratio 8-1 between the rolled oats and everything else.
