Jodi's Granola

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 8 cups rolled oats
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup almonds, chopped
  • 1 cup peanuts, chopped
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup safflower oil
  • 1 cup currants

Recipe

  • 1 saute oats in small amount of oil in frying pan for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. place in bowl with all other ingredients. mix well.
  • 2 spread on cookie sheet and bake until done but not burned -- about 20 minutes. keep mixing so bottom doesn't get burned.
  • 3 the important thing about the ingredients is the ratio 8-1 between the rolled oats and everything else.
