Crispy Wheat Crackers

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup oil
- melted butter
- coarse salt
- sesame seeds
- poppy seed (to garnish)
Recipe
- 1 heat oven to 350°f.
- 2 mix flours, sugar, soda, salt.
- 3 stir in buttermilk and oil.
- 4 shape dough into 6 balls.
- 5 roll each ball into a 9 inch square on a lightly floured cloth covered board.
- 6 cut into squares or rough strips depending on the shape you want.
- 7 brush with butter and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- 8 sprinkle with course salt and sesame or poppy seeds.
- 9 bake 8-10 minutes or until crisp and golden.
