Gnocchi And Sausage Supper

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 lb italian sausage (casings removed)
  • 1 (16 ounce) package gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup yellow sweet onion, chopped
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag fresh baby spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Recipe

  • 1 cook gnocchi as described on package; save 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.
  • 2 add olive oil to hot pan; add onions and cook until softened.
  • 3 add sausage with casings removed. break up with a fork and cook until no longer pink.
  • 4 add spinach and garlic. cook until spinach is wilted.
  • 5 add cooked gnocchi, 1/2 cup pasta water and cheese.
  • 6 heat until cheese melts. enjoy!
