High Fiber Bran Muffins

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 cup wheat bran
- 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup molasses or 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 400°f.
- 2 stir together: bran, flour, soda and baking powder.
- 3 then stir in raisins and set aside.
- 4 blend milk, molasses, oil and egg.
- 5 add to dry ingredients and stir just until moistened.
- 6 spoon into greased muffin tins and bake for 15 minutes or until muffins pull away from sides of cups.
