Ingredients
- 5 ounces plain flour
- 4 ounces butter
- 2 ounces caster sugar
- 2 ounces rice flour
- milk
- demerara sugar
Recipe
- 1 cream the caster sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
- 2 ad the flour and ground rice and mix well, finally using the hands to bind he mixture.
- 3 roll into a thick sausage.
- 4 brush with milk and roll in demerara sugar.
- 5 cut into slices.
- 6 bake at 190°c 375°f gas mark 5 for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
