Dr. Sears School-ade Quick Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons flax seed oil
  • 1 small frozen banana, cut up
  • 1/2 cup frozen fruit (e.g., blueberries strawberries, papaya)
  • 2 ice cubes (if fruit is not frozen or if you want a lighter taste)
  • 1 cup milk (soy or rice beverage)
  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1 vitamin, capsule (like juice plus complete)

Recipe

  • 1 combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. serve immediately after blending while the mixture still has a bubbly milkshake-like consistency.
