Ingredients
- 1 cup sake
- 1 large shallot, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons green tea leaves
- 2 tablespoons mirin (rice wine)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter, cut into pieces
Recipe
- 1 combine sake and next 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
- 2 cook 5 to 6 minutes or until reduced by half. remove from heat. whisk in butter. strain before serving.
