Hot Oatmeal And Rice

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup short-grain brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons oat bran or 2 tablespoons toasted wheat germ
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 5 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 add all ingredients to a slow cooker; stir to combine.
  • 2 cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours, or overnight.
  • 3 stir the cereal well and scoop into bowls.
  • 4 serve with milk, soy milk, or light cream and honey.
